New Nautilus

Formwork for the construction of lightweight concrete bidirectional slabs

Focus

Bidirectional slabs offer many advantages for residential buildings. It allows for the building of large spans while negating the need for excessive load-bearing elements. This allows for better space management and more freedom to make modifications during construction or restoration projects. We here at Geoplast have created several slab solutions for various commercial and residential projects.

New Nautilus optimizes spans in order to better manage compartments and internal spaces. Skydome creates an aesthetic and high-performing bidirectional slab generally used to create compartments for garages or basements. Skyrail substitutes the classic brick and cement formwork which reduces the weight of individual slabs, making it perfect for creating technical compartments with less seismic weight.

Advantages

  • LARGE SPANS
  • MAINTAINS CONSISTENT BEAM THICKNESS
  • REDUCES LOADS ON COLUMNS AND FOUNDATIONS
  • MINIMUM CONSUMPTION OF STEEL AND CONCRETE
  • REDUCED SEISMIC WEIGHT
